In this episode of 1337 Wine TV, Mark does a Google Hangout of One. Thursday 8/30/12 was #CabernetDay on Twitter where people from all over got together on Twitter to drink Cabernet-based wines. These could be Cabernet Sauvignon or Cabernet Franc (one of the parents of Cabernet Sauvignon). I had joined a Hangout earlier that day, but never got invited to join the video, so I decided to make my own since I had bought 4 wines that day. And these weren’t cheap $10 wines either. Unfortunately I didn’t get any participation. I attribute this to being my first time doing one of these. I think I ended up creating 3 Hangout invites before getting it right. Anyway, this is the “edited” version. The video is crappy online video, and the audio isn’t the best since all of this is taking from YouTube’s servers rather than from my computer.
Wines tasted were the 2008 Chateau de la Bonneliere Chinon, 2010 Slingshot Cabernet Sauvignon, 2007 Kenefick Ranch Cabernet Franc, 2005 Segla (A Bordeaux 2nd Growth 2nd wine).
